Collection: Meet The Founder

The founder of Horatio, Martin Bozlee, was born in Born and raised in Carmel, California and has spent the past 20 years in Asia. For the last 11 years he, and his wife Mia Samira, have lived on the island of the Gods, Bali, Indonesia. 

Being a lifelong entrepreneur and watch junkie, he decided to create a watch brand that would offer the highest quality Swiss watches that were at a price point that would appeal to the average collector. He also wanted to offer something other brands were just not able to do, and that is a ‘Bespoke’ line that allows the client to completely customize their watch. This ‘secret sauce’ is definitely unique to Horatio, and to ensure the highest quality, Horatio will not offer to build more than 1,000 ‘Bespoke’ watches per year. 

While he knew he could run the business from Bali, he wanted to give his clients the greatest level of confidence doing business with a new brand. This was why he chose to incorporate in Singapore, due to its excellent reputation as one of the safest places to do business for both its customers and the business.
